Hoverboard design project for Arbortech. This project originated from the Sydney 2000 Olympics. Arbortech were commissioned to manufacture 6 hoverboards for the opening ceremony at the Sydney 2000 olympics. 5 years later, Arbortech contacted Berry Design to re-design the hover board using different manufacturing techniques, as the current method of fibreglass manufacture was labour intensive. Rotational moulding was recommended to make a stronger, one-piece design.
