A 500 litre chemical storage tank with integrated protective bund was developed for Nylex. The 500L unit was designed to capture a market not covered by the existing 1000L IBC market. The design approach was to develop an all plastic solution, whereas tradional IBC units were a plastic/steel cage solution. The result is a stylish, attractive IBC.

The design underwent finite element analysis before tooling, to ensure the tank would not rupture under drop testing & adhere to Australian standards.
